L'impasto è croccante e non appesantisce, gli ingredienti di ottima qualità e una grande varietà di sapori riescono a soddisfare i palati più esigenti. Ottima l'accoglienza, il personale è gentile ed educato pronto a soddisfare le esigenze della clientela. Varia anche la scelta di gelati artigianali di produzione propria, davvero squisiti. L'ampio locale si affaccia su una delle piazze principali della cittadina, in posizione centralissima, senza problemi di parcheggio. Gustare una pizza al Sottosopra può diventare così la scusa per visitare la ridente cittadina di Acri, con le sue chiese, il suo museo, i suoi palazzi, immersa nel verde, nel cuore della Sila Greca."
